The clients required a four bedroom property, end terraced to the adjoining houses in order to optimise the use of space. They wanted a smart home with up to the minute electronics, but retaining an external appearance in keeping with the surrounding area. 

 

Piled foundations and a restricted working area were difficulties that needed to be overcome, but the project was completed on time and on budget, all to Local Authority Building Control warranty standards. 

 

The high quality insulation and use of an air source heat pump for heating and hot water enabled the property to achieve Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme standards. Throughout the house, control of lighting, CCTV, alarms, home entertainment system and powered blinds are all fully automated. 

 

The result is a smart, modern home built to high standards, both structurally and ecologically, and fully equipped with modern electronics.
