PROJECT BRIEF
To construct a new build guest cottage in the grounds of the client's home. As the new cottage would be constructed within a conservation area the project design had to be sympathetic to the existing surrounding buildings. The client required their guest accommodation to be designed and constructed in such a way that guests would have every convenience available to them, but with the ability also to be by themselves if they wished.

The Build
We were thrilled to return to one of our existing client's homes to construct a new build guest cottage within the grounds of their property.
As the project was based in a picturesque village in South Oxfordshire the new cottage needed to be designed and built with conservation requirements in mind.
Because the project was in close proximity to the main house, it was important that the new cottage would possess the same character and style as the other buildings near it.
The cottage featured many custom-designed joinery items throughout including windows, external doors and fitted wardrobes.
THE RESULT
This large stunning two bedroom new cottage now provides our client’s guests with a comfortable and relaxing space with all desirable amenities in a building separate from the main house.
